Reflection

Reflection 

As a disciplined, dedicated, and hardworking individual, I am highly motivated to achieve the goals I set for myself. By addressing my personal obstacles and managing my fear of compassion fatigue, I am well positioned to pursue these objectives. To successfully transition into a full-time Volunteer Coordinator role, I will need to demonstrate to shelter leadership the critical importance of establishing this position.

According to Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory of Motivation, employees are driven by a sense of achievement, responsibility, and recognition for their accomplishments. Personally, these factors serve as strong motivators that will support me in achieving my goals.

To ultimately celebrate success, I will highlight and acknowledge the achievements of our team, such as successful adoptions, rehoming, and fostering, while recognizing the dedicated volunteers who made these accomplishments possible.
